Salam. I was driving to my college this morning when I listened to this song. It's a memoir for me as I loved listening to the lyric. Never thought my late sister also like this song.
My late sister was doing her Phd in UM when she complained to my mum that she had bad cough for several months. My mum urged her to return to Kuching when she started to lost her voice. She then diagnosed with lung cancer. I still remember sleeping with my younger sister, my younger brother, my mum and my aunty at the ICU, Normah Hospital to accompany her. My parents did everything to make sure she's getting well. Yet her condition was getting worse. I made Nestum for her, my sister cut her nails, we cleaned her, and we just sit with her in the ICU. She's a talkative person. It's totally different when she's very quiet and we're the ones who need to do the talking. My ex brother in law was there too. He kept telling her, "If you get better, I'll bring you for a long holiday".
I had fever the day she passed away. I didn't sleep with her at the hospital when she had her last breath. I was at home with my sister. Around 2 - 3 am in the morning of 16 February 2002, my sister touched my hand and whispered to me, "Intan, kak Nor dah sikda lagik". When I went to the hospital, all I can remember is the sweet smile on her face even though she's not breathing anymore. And my eldest brother was crying as he's the only one seeing her taking her last breath.
Janji Allah S.W.T. We'll leave this world if it's our time. I never missed to recite Al-Fatihah for her and my late grandma every time after my prayer.
My late grandma passed away last July. She's very old. All her grandchildren love her very much. She's warm, loving, kind, gentle, and the best in cooking. I miss her. She was admitted in Sarawak General Hospital for a few days. When she saw my face, she kept telling me she wanted to go home and why was it too long for them to take her away. I still remember her calm face and a smile on her lips when I kissed her after she passed away.
Al-Fatihah untuk Allahyarhamah Norashikin bt. Abdul Wahab dan Allahyarhamah Hajah Mordiah bt. Haji Akram.
Pergi Tak Kembali
Album : Rabbani
Setiap insan pasti merasa
Saat perpisahan terakhir
Dunia yang fana akan ditinggalkan
Hanya amalan yang akan dibawa
Terdengar sayup surah dibaca
Sayunya alunan suara
Cemas di dada lemah tak bermaya
Terbuka hijab di depan mata
Selamat tinggal pada semua
Berpisah kita selamanya
Kita tak sama nasib di sana
Baikkah atau sebaliknya
Amalan dan taqwa jadi bekalan
Sejahtera, bahagia pulang...kesana
Sekujur badan berselimut putih
Rebah bersemadi sendiri
Mengharap kasih anak dan isteri
Apa mungkin pahala dikirim
Terbaring sempit seluas pusara
Soal bicara terus bermula
Sesal dan insaf tak berguna lagi
Hancurlah jasad dimamah bumi
Berpisah sudah segalanya
Yang tinggal hanyalah kanangan
Diiringi doa dan air mata
Yang pergi takkan kembali lagi
