Last Day
Assalamualaikum.
Monday was my last day of teaching. Am sad, unhappy and emotional. I love to teach. I just love it. Have been teaching for ten years. It's my heart, my love and my passion. :-(
But my new responsibilities required more attention. As I have more and more work to do now. Insya Allah! I'll return to my teaching when the right time has come. :-)

Pergi Tak Kembali ~ Rabbani
Assalamualaikum.
On this same day 10 years ago, 5 Zulhijah, my late eldest sister passed away due to cancer. At a very young age and in a very short time. She was still doing her PhD and happily married when confirmly diagnosed with cancer stage IV.
My late eldest sister was a very strong, determined person. Though she need to go through chemotherapy and consumed various pills, she still maintained her strong willingness. The doctor warned my Dad that a series of chemotherapy will make her hair fall and affect her other organs. But none of them happened. In fact, her hair and her skin still maintain pretty and clean as usual. Just that I still wonder up till now, she's very quiet from the day she returned to Kuching till her last day here. Not much talking as usual and she just kept looking at us as if she knew she'll be leaving. She returned here on 16 January 2002 and she passed away on 16 February 2002. One month exactly.
Still remember her words, "Intan, remember to read Bismillah before you do anything. Because Bismillah is the pembuka segala qalam."
I slept in her room every night at the hospital and I took turn with my other siblings to take care of her. But I was not there when she took her last breath. I had a fever and the doctor asked me to go home. All of us were not there except my eldest brother. Her closest friend. She had her last look at my eldest brother before she took her last breath. And, the last thing I remember of her is her SMILE... in her long sleep.
All these years, I only dreamt her once. A weird one actually. I was waiting for my flight to somewhere with Dad at the airport. That airport looks very Arabian style; the sofa, the stairs, the curtains, the color. Very Arabian style. I told Dad that I want to pray. So I went to a room where I met my late elder sister with some other ladies as well. All in white tudung and white jubah. I said, "Kak Nor, you're here as well?" She smiled and we prayed together. Upon finished my praying, I said to her, "Ok Kak Nor. I need to go now. See you." Again, she just smiled. No words.
In life, I give my best to maintain good relationship and friendship with everyone I know. Because life is too short. We might lose our chance and opportunity to let them know how much we care about them. Let's appreciate what we have in life. And who we have in life. Life is short, right? :-)

Am working today. I went to Unimas first then represented my boss at this event. Someone told me to have a diet yesterday. He said I put on weight. Positive thinking, dear. I fell asleep after Isya'. Now I felt so fresh and it's 2.00 am in the morning. Geez...
Out of sudden Dad want to change our trip. "Kids, let's go to Italy! Then we go to Paris." Adoiii... am still a kid to him. Luv u, Dad. Just wonder why Italy. And why Paris again. I really want to go to New Zealand, Dad.
It's gonna be Milan, Rome, Venice and Paris. What can I say? Dad's the one who decide. Just sharing some pics of Italy here. Have been to Paris. So not much to be expected there. Just a wonderful shopping heaven for designer bags. Hihihihihi.....

Just want to express my feelings.
It's not about gifts.
It's not about money.
It's just a simple statement to show how much you care about the most important person in your life.
It's just one date in a year which indicates one of the best moment in someone's life.
But it's never that important to some people right?
Maybe we're not that important for them as how important they are to us.
Don't take the risks. It's too dangerous.
Don't do anything. Just keep quiet.
As silent is the best cure of all.
But do remember.
It will become a silent killer in one's relationship.
Love is unpredictable.
Love can change.
Love can either unite or break two hearts.
It's not that difficult to show our concern.
It's easy. Just that we're too proud to show it.
I'm tired of this.
I'm just tired.
Can someone please tell me how to make him understand?

Tremendous Tuesday

Am back to work. Someone mentioned about books to me today and it's a splendid topic to talk about. Very interesting anyway.
I prefer to read English but started to read Malay writing since last few years. Have no specific writer to rave about as I read various writings available at bookstore. BUT... let me suggest two books. These books are more to love, life, family and relationship. Written by a female writer, Noraslina Jusin and she's Ustaz Zaharuddin's wife. Honestly, both books are great. Should grab a chance to read them. Happy reading!
